AICM and Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone Jointly held 2022 Responsible Care® and Open-to-Public Day Event

On July 29, 2022, the International Association of Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) and Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area (TEDA) jointly held a Responsible Care and Open-to-Public Day Event at the Nangang Industrial Zone Exhibition Center. Ma Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of TEDA, Fernando Vallina, AICM Vice Chair, Chairman of ExxonMobil (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Li Lei, AICM Vice Chair, SABIC Vice President and Regional Head, North Asia, and Luan Bingmei, Deputy Secretary General of Responsible Care Working Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) attended and delivered speeches. Xiao Li, Chair of AICM Responsible Care Committee, moderated the event, and Ms. Beryl Ma, Executive Director of AICM also participated in the event.

Announcement of Deputy Chair and Sub-committee Chair of IPAC of AICM

We regret to announce Mr. Bill Zhou of Evonik, stepped down from the position as the Deputy Chair of the AICM Industrial Policy Advocacy Committee (IPAC) in July due to his new career pursuit. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Bill Zhou for his remarkable contributions as well as excellent leadership in IPAC as the Deputy Chair over the years. Per the bylaws, on behalf of AICM, we would like announce that Mr. Brooks Yu(Title) is appointed as the Deputy chair of IPAC. Meanwhile, Mr. Peter Song (title) is appointed as Site SHE Sub-Committee Chair of IPAC . The above appointments will be effective as of July 26, 2022.

AICM and ACC successfully held a seminar on chemical regulations

On July 12, 2022, the regulation exchange meeting jointly organized by the International Association of Chemical Manufacturers (AICM) and the American Chemical Association (ACC) was successfully held online. More than 60 representatives from both associations attended the meeting.
