Global Framework on Chemicals Webinar jointly organized by AICM and ACC
Dear members,
AICM and ACC will jointly organize a webinar on Global Framework on Chemicals on Jul. 16th.
The fifth International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM5), organized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) with the German government serving as chair, took place from September 25 to 29, 2023, at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) in Germany.
This framework envisions a world without the hazards of chemicals and waste, aiming for a safe, healthy, and sustainable future. It is also an integral part of broader agreements such as the Sustainable Development Goals, the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and the ongoing negotiations for a global plastic pollution treaty.
The GFC sets the direction for future global chemicals management. We invite experts from the American Chemical Council (ACC) to share updates on the progress of the Global Framework on Chemicals, helping member companies formulate future chemical management strategies.
