AICM is pleased to announce the appointment of Rui Coelho, President and CEO of Air Liquide China as the new Board Director of AICM effective as of October 4, 2024.

Rui Coelho is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the industrial and medical gases industry with a proven track record of leading businesses to growth and profitability. He began his career with Air Liquide in Portugal and has since ascended through various leadership positions, including Vice President of Large Industries Asia Pacific, President of Large Industries North America, Vice President of South America and Vice President Central Europe. In his current role as the President and CEO of Air Liquide China based in Shanghai, Rui now leads Air Liquide business across China, overseeing a workforce of over 5,600 employees in more than 120 sites.

The Board believes with the new Director on board, AICM will further develop itself into a more effective organization that meets the needs of its members and delivers more value. We wish Rui great success in his new role.
