The AICM 2025 "Open-to-Public Day" (OTP) Closing Ceremony came to a successful conclusion in Shanghai on December 11, 2025. This year's OTP, themed "Chemistry Shapes the Future," supported the public gain a deeper understanding of chemistry from various perspectives and learn about the social responsibilities of chemical enterprises.

In 2025, AICM member companies organized a diverse array of OTP activities across more than 30 cities and regions nationwide, attracting hundreds of volunteers to participate. These efforts effectively enhanced interactions and connections between international chemical enterprises and government departments, chemical parks, as well as local communities. Since its inaugural event in 2009, OTP has traversed the length and breadth of the country over the past 17 years, consistently conveying the concept of sustainable development within the chemical industry to the public.

AICM presented awards such as the "Low-Carbon Innovation Award," "Community Harmony Award," and "Hope Lightening Award" to outstanding companies this year. A total of 19 AICM member companies were honored with these awards, in recognition of their deep-rooted presence in the Chinese market and their efforts to advance corporate social responsibility initiatives for chemical enterprises in China.
