On August 6th, 2020, Shanghai Emergency Management Administration and the International Cooperation and Exchange Center of MEM jointly held Emergency Management Exchange seminar and Promotion Meeting Law-popularization for foreign enterprises in Shanghai. Leaders of Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau were invited to attend the meeting, and representatives of more than 50 foreign-funded enterprises from the United States, France, Germany, Britain, Japan, South Korea and other countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan gathered together to carry out exchanges and interactions on the theme of safety. AICM actively supported this event and coordinated representatives from 30 member companies to attend.
The meeting introduced the implementation opinions on comprehensively strengthening safe production of hazardous chemicals of Shanghai municipality, the flood control task and countermeasures of Shanghai Municipality, the latest regulations and policies on fire safety of Shanghai Municipality, etc., and four foreign companies exchanged views after the speeches. AICM will continue to provide a platform for member companies to communicate and interact with governments and experts, and promote safe production and compliance operation of member companies.
